I kind of fell out of writing these, and I enjoyed compiling all of the things I was loving at the moment to share with you all so I figured I should bring it back. The last time I wrote this list, we were in the middle of a pandemic, and it is crazy to think that 2 years later we are still in it. Thankfully, we are seeing a turn around and I am so excited to be getting back to what life used to be like after the pandemic (praise God). Meg and I have been travelling a lot more and have some super exciting summer travel plans coming up so stay tuned!
I am so excited that it is summer time again. As much as I absolutely love the fresh fallen snow, ski days, and cozy nights by the fire sipping hot chocolate, I am so thrilled that the warm weather is coming! Summer is probably my favourite time of year, second to autumn of course because nothing beats that season in my opinion. I am so looking forward to camp fires, beach days, road trips with the windows down and loud music playing, and just spending time outside. It will also be Chloe's first summer and I am so excited for her to experience it all - especially learning how to swim!
Now, enough with my life updates and dreams of summer. Here is a list of all of the things that I have been loving lately and that have been bringing me joy, so hopefully they can bring you joy too!
THE LOVE LIST
Whoa That's Good Podcast by Sadie Robertson - I have been listening to this podcast for such a long time now and I love it. Sadie has some truly inspiring guest speakers and I have really enjoyed listening to what they have to say. The topics can be anywhere from relationship advice to self-confidence to finding happiness in life, all while keeping a perspective on God. She also just started a Sisters and Friends section and it has been so fun to listen along. You can find some great advice in these podcasts and I highly recommend them.
Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm - I just ordered this lip balm a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I ordered the colour guava in the non-plumping balm, and the colour primrose in the Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump. The plumping balm has a bit of a tingly sensation, but less so than other plumping balms I have tried. They are both so luscious and do not feel sticky at all. It looks like you are wearing a lip gloss, but totally just feels like wearing a lip balm which I love! Between the two types (plumping and non-plumping), I have to say I love them equally. If you haven't tried these yet, you definitely should! It is a new staple in my makeup routine, especially for summer when you want something light but cute.
Elevated Faith Sweaters - This is a Christian company that makes some of the cutest faith based apparel I have ever seen. Not to mention their sweaters are so incredibly soft and cozy - they have become the first thing I reach for on a lazy day/when I don't feel like getting all dressed up. You should definitely check them out, and if you find something you love, you can use the code AnnaOlivia15 for 15% off your order!
My favourite recent Starbucks order - the Strawberry Acai Lemonade. This is summer in a drink and you can't change my mind. The flavour is to die for, especially with the lemonade in there!
Aerie's new arrivals. Y'all. If there is a brand that I have bought the most from this season it is Aerie. Their styles are so bright and colourful which I absolutely love in the summer months. Their athletic wear is also so comfortable and light, and the colours are perfect. I would honestly order these shorts in every colour.
Olaplex - I recently started dying my hair so I wanted to find a line of hair products that would be both friendly for dyed hair and also help with hydration. I cannot brag enough about these products. Currently I am using the No. 4 Shampoo, No. 5 Conditioner, and the No.7 Bonding Oil. I have also been using the No. 4P Blonde Enhancing Shampoo and it has been amazing at reducing the brassiness of the blonde in my hair. Overall, I love these products. They have kept my hair so healthy in the dying process!
Well, there you have it friends. I hope you enjoyed reading through some of my favourite things. What have you been loving lately?
Love,
~ Sarah
